WACO (February 15, 2013)—A man was arrested Friday afternoon after a foot chase following a report of an auto burglary.

Police were sent to an address in East Waco after a caller reported a man breaking into a vehicle.

As officers arrived the suspect fled on foot but was spotted a short distance later in the yard of a house at 1312 Harrison Avenue.

Again when the suspect saw officers he ran, but this time only to the back of the house, then inside.

Officers were able to get him to come out and arrested him, then took him to the McLennan County Jail.

The suspect had not been identified.

No one was injured.
