COPPERAS COVE (March 6, 2013)-- A Jacksboro man was named in an indictment Tuesday charging him with the sexual assault of a child in Copperas Cove last November.
David Lee Dean, 32, remained in the Coryell County Jail Wednesday in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
Coryell County Justice of the Peace Bill Price signed an arrest complaint that states a 10-year-old girl said in a forensic interview that she had been sexually assaulted by a man who was visiting her residence over the 2012 Thanksgiving holiday.
Dean was arrested on the warrant on Feb. 7 and booked into the Coryell County Jail.
The victim reported the man had her lie down with him one evening after which she fell asleep.
The girl reported she was awakened when the man began touching her inappropriately.
