WACO (April 5, 2013)—Waco Aikido and Self Defense is hosting a free event centered on the Castle Doctrine of Texas.

Castle Doctrine is a legal doctrine that gives individuals certain protection when defending themselves against an intruder in their own space.

The event, held Saturday, will be led by an attorney who specializes in Texas firearm laws.

The class will cover your legal rights and how to minimize legal troubles.

Participants need to register and in the event of a full class, a back-up list of attendees will be created for spots that open up.

The session will run from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m.

To reserve your spot, call Eric Schafer at (254) 235-9484.

The self-defense center is located at 1720 Franklin Avenue.
