WACO (April 22, 2013)--A ceremony will celebrate the dedication of a Waco Habitat for Humanity house built and funded with the help of students from Baylor University.
"Baylor Build" Waco Habitat house #146 will be purchased by Habitat partner Mary Andrade at cost through a zero-interest mortgage.
Habitat for Humanity builds and rehabilitates homes in partnership with low-income families who contribute sweat equity and repay at cost.
The Baylor University Campus Chapter has helped rehabilitate more than 130 houses since 1987.
The ceremony will take place Saturday at 1 p.m. at 1417 Gurley Avenue.
