COPPERAS COVE (July 30, 2013)—Just hours after she was released from Killeen police custody following her arrest for running around naked, a Copperas Cove woman was back in custody in Coryell County charged with threatening a man and his family with a knife.

Lori Ann Mitchell was ordered held in the Coryell County Jail on a $20,000 bond, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Copperas Cove police were sent at about 1 p.m. Sunday to a residence on Karen Sue Circle where a man told them a woman who was at his home grabbed a knife and started chasing him around the house.

The victim told police the woman had just been brought there after she was released from custody in Killeen where she had been arrested earlier for disrobing and running around the streets.

The victim had taken the woman to a store to buy new clothes and when they returned, she threatened him and other family members with a knife.

The victim was able to get the knife away from the woman before police arrived, an arrest affidavit said.
