BELLMEAD (October 10, 2012)—A robbery Wednesday morning at a business in Bellmead netted a gunman an undisclosed amount of cash.
Bellmead police were sent just before noon to Eddie's Tire Shop, at 1422 New Dallas Highway after a report of a robbery.
A clerk at the shop told police a man entered the business, pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the cash register.
The gunman left the business on foot and later was seen running behind an adjacent business but police, who began an immediate search of the area, were not able to find him.
No description of the gunman was immediately available.
No one was hurt in the robbery.
