BELLMEAD (December 5, 2012)--A variety of holiday community events are scheduled for Thursday in Bellmead.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m. refreshments will be served and Christmas music will be heard next to city hall.
A short presentation will follow and the mayor will read The Christmas Story at around 5:55 p.m.
A tree lighting ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. and the Bellmead 62nd annual Knights of Columbus Christmas Parade is set for 7 p.m.
The parade will start at the intersection of Loop 340 and Bellmead Drive and after going up Bellmead Drive it will end where the road intersects with Hogan Lane.
