Belton: Concert Friday Brings Israeli-Born Musician To UMHB

BELTON (February 28, 2013)--Israeli-born musician Ifar “Eef” Barzelay will perform at UMHB Friday.

Born in Tel Aviv, Barzelay, whose grandparents are Holocaust survivors, will describe his conversion from his parents’ largely atheistic view to Christianity.

His music is described as spiritual alt-country and has been featured in shows like Ed, Californication and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Friday’s show at 7:30 p.m. is free to UMHB students and $10 for others.

It will be held in the Hughes Recital Hall.
