BELTON (March 26, 2013)--A special therapy training session will be held Wednesday through Friday as part of the “STAR Healing with Horses and Retreat Program.”
The program, based out of Troy, is an outreach of Ranch Good Days, a nonprofit organization that supports equine assisted retreat activities and therapy.
The program provides support to at-risk girls between the ages of 12 and 21 and provides them with healing through horse therapy.
The training session will be held at 4:30 p.m. at the Bell County Expo Center.
The “father of equine assisted therapy” Greg Kersten will lead the event.
