BELTON (January 30, 2013)--The Lena Armstrong Public Library will soon be offering free computer classes to residents.
From February until May, residents will be able to sign up for classes at the front desk.
A beginners class will be offered from 6:15 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. every Wednesday and will start over at the beginning of each month.
Each week of the month will cover different lessons.
The beginner’s class covers parts of a computer, how to use the Internet, E-mail, Microsoft Office, job searching and general information gathering.
The advanced class will be held on the third and fourth Thursdays from 6:15 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Community members will also be able to receive general help from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. every Thursday, however a class will not be taught at that time.
