BLUM (February 12, 2013)--A woman was flown early Tuesday morning to Parkland Hospital, in Dallas, after she was burned in a recreational vehicle explosion and fire.

Just before 3 a.m. Tuesday firefighters from Blum, Covington and the 2604 Fire Department were sent to the Chisolm Trail Park, just off State Highway 174 to a RV on Catfish Lane were a caller reported the explosion.

Firefighters found the trailer engulfed in flames and the injured woman outside.

The woman was not seriously burned, but suffered severe smoke inhalation.

No one else was hurt.

A spokeswoman for the Hill County Sheriff's Department said fire investigators believe the explosion was caused by a propane gas leak.
