COPPERAS COVE (February 3, 2013) --- Neighbors were still in the dark Sunday night about an ongoing investigation into an incident that happened Saturday night on their street.
A dispatcher with the Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed that police were called out to a residence on Westview Lane in Copperas Cove sometime around 6:30 p.m. after someone barricaded themselves inside a home.
Copperas Cove City Manager Andrea Gardner confirmed police responded to the call but wouldn't say what happened.
No details were released from the Copperas Cove Police Department on Saturday or Sunday.
Gardner did confirm that The Texas Rangers have taken over the investigation.
