CAMERON (February 8, 2013)—Isidro Dominguez, 27, of Cameron, was in the Milam County jail Friday facing a list of charges stemming from a four-month narcotics investigation, the Milam County Sheriff’s Office said.
Dominguez was arrested after a brief chase during which deputies were nearly struck, authorities said.
The arrest came after officers served simultaneous search warrants Thursday at homes in the 1100 block of Ben Milam Road and the 800 block of West 2nd Street in Cameron.
Authorities recovered cocaine, marijuana and guns from both homes, the sheriff’s office said.
Dominguez was facing charges of possession of a controlled substance more than 4, but less than 200 grams, tampering with evidence, aggravated assault on a public servant, evading arrest in a motor vehicle, and misdemeanor marijuana possession, the sheriff’s office said.
