CAMERON (March 18, 2013)--One man died and other person was taken to a local hospital Saturday after a wreck just north of Cameron.
The accident was reported at around 6:15 a.m. involving two pickup trucks travelling on FM 485, a DPS spokesperson said Monday.
Efrain Castillo Carmona, 40, of Cameron, died at the scene and a passenger of the other pickup truck was transported to a local hospital.
Details of the accident were not available Monday.
Services for Carmona will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Monica's Catholic Church on S. Nolan Avenue.
A rosary will be held at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
