CAMERON (June 26, 2013)—Nina Kay Moore, 50, who’s named in a warrant charging theft over $1,500, but under $20,000 in an incident that cost a Cameron restaurant owner who thought he was making a down payment on a house $8,450, was in custody Wednesday in Montgomery County.

The victim was bilked in a scheme in which a woman who represented herself as the agent for a residence collected a down payment on the property, attempting to sell the home without the owner’s knowledge, police said.
