CAMERON (November 20, 2012)--A man was charged with aggravated robbery Monday after another man was threatened with a gun.
Charles Henry Ellison, 32, of Cameron, was ordered held on bonds totaling $75,000, charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and theft of more than $1,500.
According to police, a man reported a laptop and a savings bond stolen from his vehicle and later the thief offered to sell the items back to the owner.
The owner asked seller to take him to an ATM machine so that he could withdraw some money to buy the items back.
Police say while at the ATM machine the thief pulled a handgun and demanded the victim withdraw cash.
