CAMERON (November 29, 2012)--A Christmas parade will get underway Saturday morning closing some downtown streets.
The parade will line up at 8:45 a.m. at Orchard and Main. It was planned so that the time would not clash with high school sporting games.
Vendor booths will open at 9 a.m. and the parade will follow their route at 10 a.m.
The route will travel down Main to Travis, then to Second Street, Houston, First, around the courthouse before heading back.
The parade will end at Gillis and Tyson.
Awards will be given for the best displays and Santa will also make an appearance.
