CENTRAL TEXAS (February 27, 2013) --- The U.S. Army hosted a Twitter Chat Wednesday to answer some of the questions about automatic budget cuts that could take place Friday unless a budget deal is reached on Capitol Hill.
Several users posted their questions about the cuts and possible civilian Department of Defense worker furloughs.
A second session focused on how the furloughs could affect Army Family services and programs, and a third session focused on how sequestration would impact soldiers and training.
One person asked when furloughs could take place and an Army official responded that they could happen any day.
Another person asked if child care costs would change in relation to different pay scales when the cuts happened.
The questions and answers can be found on Twitter by searching #ArmyChat in the search bar.
