CHINA SPRING (November 6, 2012)--The China Spring Marching Band has been ranked 9th in the state.
The feat comes after missing a top ten state finals spot by just a few points in 2010.
Directed by Pam Hyatt, the band placed 4th in the area finals competition in October giving them the opportunity to advance to state.
The state competition was held Monday at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
This was the third straight time the band has competed in the state competition.
