COPPERAS COVE (October 26, 2012)--A Copperas Cove man was indicted Thursday in the November 2011 sexual assault of a child.

Christopher Ross, 33, was indicted Thursday, but was transferred to Travis County Jail from the Coryell County Jail where he had been held in lieu of $505,000 bond.

A Jail records clerk said Friday he is being held in Travis County on other warrants.

The charge stems from a report by a 14-year-old girl who told investigators she was sexually assaulted by a man who had sexual intercourse with her, according to the complaint signed by Coryell County Justice of the Peace F.W. "Bill" Price.

The incident outlined in the complaint happened Nov. 28, but the victim also reported the same man had sexually assaulted her on previous occasions.
