COPPERAS COVE (March 5, 2013)--A Copperas Cove woman was indicted Tuesday in connection with the robbery of a woman in January 2012 outside of a McDonald's restaurant.

Sara Louise Bryant was named in an indictment charging aggravated robbery in connection with the holdup on Jan. 3, 2012 at the McDonald's in Copperas Cove.

Another Copperas Cove woman, Crystal Grace Paicely, has already pleaded guilty to charges stemming from her role in the robbery and has been sentenced, court records show.

Police reports at the time showed the two women went to the fast food restaurant and while there were accused of stealing a wallet that contained $51.

When the victim noticed the money was missing, she confronted the two women and, according to the report, they attacked her.

An arrest affidavit says as the victim "positioned herself in front of the car to keep (the suspects) from leaving," the driver of the Dodge Neon "lunged" the car at her.

The victim tried one more time to stop the women as they drove out of the parking lot and was forced to jump on the hood of the car to avoid being run down, the affidavit said.
