COPPERAS COVE (August 10, 2012)--Three men were held in the Coryell County Jail Friday, each charged with multiple counts of aggravated robbery.
Aaron Jermaine Johnson, 25, and Brannon Cole Johnson, 22, both of Copperas Cove, who were arrested after the robbery on Wednesday, were ordered held on $100,000 bond each.
They’re each charged with four counts of aggravated robbery.
Cordarion Scott was arrested on Aug. 8 and was charged with four counts of aggravated robbery.
His bonds also total $100,000.
An arrest affidavit issued in the case says officers were sent Wednesday just before midnight to an address in the 200 block of Gibson Street where residents reported that two men had robbed them.
There were four people inside the home and all four reported to police they were robbed at gunpoint.
The robbers made away with several items from the home.
An officer later spotted a man in the area a couple of blocks from the home, stopped him for questioning and then took him into custody.
A second officer reported he saw a man running in the area toward Walmart and was able to catch him and place him under arrest.
The affidavit says officers recovered a silver semi-automatic handgun at the same spot where one of the men was arrested.
Although two of the arrested men have the same last name, the jail roster indicates they are not related.
