COPPERAS COVE (September 17, 2012)--A $20 fee increase will be charged to residents looking to surrender an animal to animal control beginning in October.
Adoption fees will increase $5 and euthanasia will cost residents $40.
The Euthanasia fee was set at $15.
According to the city's website, non-residents will pay even more for the services.
The fees are a result of rising pet costs including vaccines and food, the city said.
