COPPERAS COVE (January 15, 2012)-CCISD missed three days of school after a series of bomb threats forced them to increase security on their campuses.
The Board of Trustees met on Tuesday evening and unanimously approved a decision to apply for a waiver with the Texas Education Agency.
The district will provide T.E.A. with the proper documentation as to why they took days off to increase security.
Officials are hoping the application will be approved so they will not have to make up the missed days this school year.
