GATESVILLE (March 25, 2013)-A Coryell County man was held Monday in county jail charged with sexual assault of a child.
Kevin Ramon King, 39, was ordered held on bonds totaling $200,000, charged with four counts of sexual assault of a child.
Coryell County deputies arrested King Friday on a warrant following his indictment last week.
In a formal complaint signed by Justice of the Peace Beverly Jones, Coryell County Deputy Sheriff Sgt. Armando Paniagua says that on Jan. 23, 2012, he began investigating a report of multiple sexual assaults on a girl who was younger than 17 years old at the time.
The complaint says the reported assaults happened at a residence in the 900 block of Kubitz Road, near Copperas Cove, and involved a girl who was 15-years-old at the time.
Paniagua said the victim reported to him she was sexually assaulted three separate times in one night by a man who came into her home.
The victim, during a forensic interview at the Children's Advocacy Center, in Belton, said a man had inappropriate sexual contact with her.
