CORYELL COUNTY (September 14, 2012)-The County Commissioners ordered a burn ban on August 6 and have been meeting periodically to discuss maintaining or lifting the order.
Effective Friday, the restriction on outdoor burning is temporarily lifted until the end of the day on Monday.
Residents are asked to contact the county sheriff's office that a burn will be conducted.
The County Commissioners Court will meet on Monday to decide whether to reinstate the burn ban.
Burns are prohibited if the winds are at or expected to exceed 23 miles per hour.
