ELM MOTT (February 1, 2013)—A one-vehicle accident backed up southbound traffic on Interstate 35 Friday evening just north of Elm Mott, but there were no reports of injuries.
The accident was reported at around 6 p.m. Friday near the Ross Antique Mall.
The Department of Public Safety said a pickup truck towing a trailer hit a barrier and overturned when the driver over-corrected after one of the trailer’s tires blew out, causing the truck to swerve.
The man driving the truck was not injured.
