FORT HOOD (August 13, 2012)—Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the death of Spc. Tyler Lynn Abbott, 29, of Westwood, Calif., who was found unresponsive Friday in his residence in Killeen and who was later pronounced dead by Bell County Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin, Fort Hood said Monday.
No other details were provided.
Abbott joined the Army in April 2006 and had been assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division’s Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team.
