FORT HOOD (September 17, 2012)--A 70-year anniversary ceremony will be held Tuesday to mark 70 years since Fort Hood’s establishment in 1942.
The ceremony will honor soldiers, family members, and the surrounding communities that helped shape the “Great Place.”
The celebration will begin at 10 a.m. in the west wing of the III Corps Headquarters building.
