Fort Hood: Military Spouses Get Help With Start-Up Businesses

FORT HOOD (September 10, 2012)--Central Texas College Students in Free Enterprise Team in partnership with Fort Hood ACS and the Central Texas Business Resource Center is holding a workshop this week for military spouses who want to start their own business.

The “I” Serve Too workshop will focus on creating businesses that are easily transferrable to any location and will include lessons in how to write an effective business and marketing plan as well as keeping track of income and inventory.

SIFE will select the three best business ideas developed by the attendees and donate $1,000 to the winners to help cover start-up costs.

The workshop runs from Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Soldier Development Center.
