FORT HOOD (September 28, 2012)--Events at the Bronco Youth Center and Smith Middle School Saturday will kick off National Night Out (NNO) which is slated for Tuesday.
Beginning at 5 p.m., free food, McGruff the Crime Dog, the National Knight and children activities will get underway.
The fun concludes at 8 p.m.
The event promotes community spirit, improves relationships between law enforcement and the public and also sends a message that the neighborhood will not tolerate crime.
Participating Fort Hood Housing areas host their NNO block parties Tuesday.
