FORT HOOD (November 2, 2012)--Wendy’s restaurants in Waco, Temple, Killeen, Marble Falls and Copperas Cove raised $10,085 for USO Fort Hood.
At the beginning of summer customers were given the opportunity to get a free Frosty for the rest of the year for purchasing a Frosty Key Tag for $1.
Up to 80 percent of the proceeds went to the organization.
The amount raised this year beats last year by $3,361.00.
The Wendy’s team will make the donation at the Fort Hood Wendy’s on Veterans Day.
