FORT HOOD (September 13, 2012)--A wildfire raging on post since Friday was put out Wednesday, a Fort Hood spokesperson said.
On Monday, more than 100 acres had burned near Brown Creek.
Officials were only able to monitor the area due to what they believed was unexploded ordnance in the area.
Crews were eventually able to put it out sometime Wednesday afternoon, a spokesperson said.
No other details were available Thursday.
