FORT HOOD (June 26, 2012)—An 18-wheeler hauling a 100-ton load on a 120-foot trailer is stuck on West Range road just north of Eiam Cemetery on Fort Hood and it’s going to take special equipment to clear the road, the post said Tuesday.
As a result, post officials have closed the southbound lane of West Range road and are advising travelers headed to and from Gatesville to use East Range Road instead, Fort Hood said.
