KILLEEN (June 29, 2012)—Three men and a woman were arrested early Friday morning following a disturbance in Killeen that resulted in an extended search for the suspects.
Killeen police spokeswoman Carroll Smith said at about 12:30 a.m. Friday police were sent to an address on Eastside Drive in response to a report of a disturbance.
When police arrived, four suspects fled the scene into an open field across the street.
Officers on foot and a Department of Public Safety helicopter began an extended search for the four and after a short time all were in custody.
Smith said three men were arrested for evading arrest and one woman was arrested for evading and for unlawfully carrying a weapon.
Smith did not release the suspects’ names.
