FREESTONE COUNTY (January 25, 2013)—An incident in which shots were fired near the Dew ISD School in Freestone County remains under investigation, authorities said Friday.
Deputies responded Wednesday to a 911 report that someone was firing a weapon near the school, which was placed on lockdown until deputies secured the area.
The shots were fired at a private residence nearby, authorities said.
