The driver was arrested and the pickup and trailer were impounded for further investigation.

Subsequent investigation revealed the items on the trailer all had been reported stolen from various locations.

Police and deputies impounded 33 bags of deer corn, 6 bags of bird seed, a Kawasaki Mule (UTV), a Kawasaki ATV, a motorcycle dirt bike, and the flatbed trailer.

Also stolen were construction tools, copper wiring, copper tubing, air compressor, auto batteries, and assorted ammunition.

During the investigation Investigators learned of a deer lease located in Hamilton County and Coryell County deputies, along with deputies from Hamilton County located the property owner.

Investigators discovered two flatbed trailers which also had been reported stolen from the Georgetown area.

Total estimated value of stolen items recovered is estimated at more than $30,000.00, Blakley said.
