Gatesville: Four Arrested, Drugs Seized In Early-Morning Raid

GATESVILLE (July 18, 2014) Four people were arrested and a small amount of drugs seized after Coryell County Sheriff’s Deputies served a search warrant at a residence in Gatesville early Thursday.

Darrell Lee Stanfield, 46, Laurri K. Shaw, 32, Willah Sue Heard, 43, and Bradley Key, 43, all were in the Coryell County Jail Friday awaiting charges.

Stanfield faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and Shaw faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Heard and Key face charges of possession of marijuana, jail records showed.

Early in the morning on Thursday deputies, assisted by Gatesville police and officers from the Heart of Texas Auto Theft Task Force, raided a house on S.14th St. in Gatesville, Coryell County Sheriff Johnny Burks said.

Officers arrested the four at the residence and recovered more than a gram of a controlled substance and less than two ounces of marijuana, Burks said.
