GATESVILLE (February 14, 2013)—A tip that a package containing marijuana had been shipped to Qwik Pack and Ship in the 2000 block of East Main St. led to the arrest of a Gatesville man who works at the business, Gatesville police Chief Nathan Gohlke said Thursday.
Gatesville police, Coryell County deputies and federal drug agents served a search warrant at the business Thursday after California Department of Justice officials alerted authorities to the shipment.
Scott Andrew Lemon of Gatesville was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana over 5 pounds, but less than 50 pounds, Gohlke said.
He remained in the Coryell County Jail Thursday.
