GATESVILLE (August 31, 2012)-The Commissioners Court of Coryell County will meet in a special session to conduct a public hearing on a proposal to increase total tax revenues and the property tax rate for the 2012 tax year.
This hearing is the second of two Coryell County public hearings on a proposal to increase total tax revenues by 7.59 percent.
Individual property taxes could increase at a greater or lesser rate, or decrease, depending on property details, the city said.
The meeting will take place in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Gatesville Annex on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
The public hearing is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
