GATESVILLE (November 13, 2012)--Speakers are available to give presentations to community organizations and civic groups about the parole process, tailored to your needs.

The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles has offices in Gatesville and will provide a speaker to present information on three key areas: the process in Texas for parole consideration, making parole decisions and what happens when conditions of a parole are broken by the parolee.

Established by the Texas Constitution, the board decides which offenders to release on parole, conditions for parole and whether or not to revoke parole, along with making recommendations to the governor.
