HARKER HEIGHTS (July 30, 2013)—Harker Heights police caught four juveniles in the act after responding to a report of a home burglary progress Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were sent at around 1:15 p.m. Tuesday to a home in the 400 block of Shoshoni Trail Drive, where they took the four juveniles into custody.
Two homes in the neighborhood were burglarized and officers recovered items taken from the residences valued at a total of about $6,000 police said.
The juveniles face burglary of a habitation charges and a charge of theft of a firearm, police said.
They were all taken to the Bell County Detention Center.
