HARKER HEIGHTS (September 19, 2012)--The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System is hosting a Welcome Home Ceremony for military members and their immediate families Saturday at Carl Levin Park.
There will be free food, door prizes, and entertainment at the event.
120 briskets, roasted corn, sno cones, cotton candy and 15 jumpers for children will be available for attendees, an event organizer said.
More than $80,000 in donations has been given for the event.
A job fair will also be on site for veterans.
The fun lasts from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
