HARKER HEIGHTS (September 3, 2012)--The Harker Heights Parks and Recreation and Police Departments are inviting well-behaved dogs and their owners to Saturday's Puppypalooza.
The free, dog-friendly event for all ages will include demonstrations, adoptions, dog and owner games, swimming, pet advice, and more.
Dogs should practice their tricks and keep their paws clean for the Best Dog Trick Competition and the fashion show.
Owners and dogs with similar features can participate in the Dog and Owner Look-A-Like Contest.
Both competitions require pre-registration online.
The event starts at 8:30 a.m. and lasts until 11:30 a.m. at Carl Levin Park, at 400 Miller's Crossing.
All dogs must be on a leash to attend.
