HILLSBORO (February 22, 2013)—Residents are being asked to reserve their spot on the bus Wednesday for Hill County Day in Austin.
The event will give locals a chance to meet with legislators and hear their presentations on issues affecting the county.
For $30, residents can ride the bus and enjoy lunch at Carmelo’s Restaurant.
Those providing their own transportation will need to pay $20 for the meal which covers gratuity.
There will be a limited menu and reservations are required.
Residents will depart from city hall on E. Franklin Street at 6:45 a.m. and can expect to be back in Hillsboro around 6:30 p.m.
