KILLEEN (November 28, 2012)—A 6-year-old boy who was struck by a car as he crossed a street toward his mother Wednesday afternoon in Killeen was taken to Metroplex Hospital.
His injuries weren’t life threatening, police said.
The accident happened just before 3 p.m. at the intersection of West Jasper and Daisy Drives.
The driver of the car that struck the boy told officers she was momentarily distracted just before the vehicle struck the youngster, police said.
She was not speeding, police said.
No citations were issued.
