KILLEEN (February 28, 2013)--Police were directing traffic Thursday morning at a busy Killeen intersection while crews cleared the roadway of debris after a three vehicle crash.
Officers and rescue personnel were sent at around 11 a.m. to South Fort Hood Street and West Elms Road after three vehicles collided in the intersection.
Two people were taken by ambulance to Scott & White Hospital, in Temple for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Two others involved were not injured.
A police officer at the scene said one of the drivers failed to stop at a red light, but did not say which one.
A News 10 reported at the scene said the crash involved a pickup truck, a van and a car, at least two of which had collided head-on.
