KILLEEN (July 27, 2012)—Frederick Dewayne Thompson remained in the Bell County Jail Friday charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit another felony in connection with a home break-in and assault in Killeen.
His bond was set at $50,000.
He was arrested Thursday in connection with the incident, which happened on Wednesday.
According to the arrest warrant affidavit, the man and woman who were at the home told officers Thompson broke out a window of the home and then entered through a door.
Once inside he tried to assault the man, the affidavit said.
