KILLEEN (September 13, 2013)--Dominica Guerra Newcomb Theriot, 36, of Killeen, was in the Bell County Jail Friday in lieu of $100,000 bond, charged with interference with child custody.

The charge stems from her failure to return her daughter to the girl’s father, who was awarded custody when the couple divorced, Sheriff’s Department spokesman Lt. Donnie Adams said Friday.

Bell County sheriff’s deputies arrested Theriot on a warrant Wednesday after the girl’s father, Bryant Patrick Newcomb of Killeen, reported earlier that his daughter had not been returned to him at the end of the summer as required by the custody agreement and had not been enrolled in school.

Deputies found both Theriot and the girl Wednesday at a home on Denmans Loop in Belton.

The girl was returned to her father, Adams said.
