KILLEEN (November 27, 2012)--A Killeen man was in the Bell County Jail Tuesday after he was arrested in connection with an incident in which a woman was assaulted and robbed in her apartment.
Michael Deshean Gregory, 22, was ordered held in lieu of a $100,000 bond, charged with aggravated robbery.
Killeen police spokeswoman Carroll Smith said officers were sent at around 9 p.m. Saturday to an address in the 1100 block of Willowsprings Road, where a woman reported she had been assaulted and some items had been stolen from her apartment.
Gregory was arrested later that evening.
The fact that the victim was assaulted enhanced the charge from theft to aggravated robbery.
